You didn't really do much from what I can tell. You made the image bigger and added text. It's not bad though, I can't put my finger on what it needs.
 
LOL I did do more than that but like I said I just went for something simple. It's only like 10 layers.
 
make it brighter, this sorta takes away from the original greatness

I did a lighter v. 2 but I was too lazy to re-up it. lol. one sec ill do that now.Edit:
