<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Tony Mejia of CBS Sportsline is the anti-Hollinger, the Nets’ biggest booster in the national media. Preseason, he predicted the Nets would win the East, Jason Kidd would be MVP and Lawrence Frank Coach of the Year. With the Nets now at .500, Mejia thinks the Nets have stopped making excuses and realized that even without Nenad Krstic, “there’s enough talent to get the job done”.

he used to hate the nets previous years, wonder what changed his mind. maybe he and RJ hooked up?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"I believe that one day that we will win a championship here, and I believe a couple of these guys will be a part of that. And I believe I'll be a part of that. And as I sit here and I say it today, I know people will laugh even more at me, but I'm hell-bent on getting this accomplished and making sure that we get it done. And I'm not leaving until we get it done."-- Isiah Thomas</div>

and Mejia's follow up comment: "I believe that one day, I'll be Chief Emperor of the Internet, and hope a couple of you will still be around to be part of that." Priceless
))

Is Isiah in his mind? What championship? What is he talking about? So far everything he touches turns rotten... come on.

Anyway, nice to see the Nets winning and we have yet to see the team in full force when Marcus Williams and Nenad Krstic get back to form. Imagine Nenad replacing Malik in the rotation and abusing backup centers. Though I am not sure how Marcus could help significantly as it would be hard for him to match Darrell Armstrong. Coach Frank still has to do a balancing act and give Marcus opportunities to shine. Marcus could give both Kidd and DA more rest heading into the playoffs.
