Week two post their sporting apocalypse everything was again put on the line and just like in week one they left the team with something to play for with nothing.
Melbourne won 34-6 and did so with a willingness for the contest the opposition lacked, a strange scenario given the circumstances.
Storm scored the first five tries, including two in the space of a minute before half-time, to again kill the contest after 40 minutes.
It was a show of attacking dominance the visitors had struggled to muster before the salary cap scandal that rendered the rest of the season moot.
