Mendis dropped, Malinga recalled for India Test series

Sri Lankan national cricket selectors have dropped mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis and recalled pace bowlers Lasith Malinga, and Dilhara Fernando into the national squad for the home Test series against India starting on July 18 on Galle.

Selectors have also left pace bowlers Nuwan Kulasekara and Tilina Thushara and have named three uncapped players off spinner Suraj Randiv and two left hand batsmen Thilina Kandamby and Lahiru Thirimanne.
