Harrison was a three-year starter for the Lady Volunteers, posting career averages of 9.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game over her four-year career at Tennessee. Prior to sustaining her knee injury, she recorded 14 double-figure scoring performances and averaged 8.6 rebounds per contest during her senior season, leading to All-SEC First Team and AP Honorable Mention All-American honors.
The Nashville, Tenn. native displayed what was perhaps her best season with the Lady Volunteers during her junior season, averaging 13.6 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest and recording 18 double-doubles on the year. She shot a career-best 57.7 percent on the season, which topped the SEC in that category.
In what will be considered her rookie season, Harrison joins a Phoenix team seeking its fourth WNBA title in 2016. With all five starters back from the Mercury's 2014 Championship team, Harrison will battle for minutes once training camp begins on April 24.
