Well, it's been discussed for a few weeks now, but this is just the proof that we were expecting. He just didn't seem like himself. The explosive moves weren't there. He couldn't get to the rim like he could in the past. God, we can only hope it's something that can be fixed, because Brandon will have to completely change his game if he loses his quickness.

Well, guess Roy isn't "dogging it". I do find it concerning that Oden is headed down to LA for a 2nd opinion on his knee.

This worries me a bit... I couldn't help but watch how McGrady moved around tonight and how explosive he once was in his career. And T-Mac's only 31, but looks like he's almost done.

I hope B-Roy isn't heading down that path already at 26.

What is causing the swelling and fluid to build up? I swear, we're going to wake up in a few weeks and hear the 'MF' word surrounding Roy. I feel a bit sick to my stomach right now.

Its just one thing after another with this franchise.

The bright side is that Brandon has improved his outside shot more and there's the possibility that he can change his game if he never gets back the explosiveness that makes him so great.

I guess its time to change up this offense and get Wes in there to earn his money.

If he does need microfracture surgery, could it be could for him in the long term? He said his knee has hurt for 2 years. Wouldn't that pain go away and he would just not be explosive?

I'm more worried about the longterm. This season is one thing, but if Roy has lost his first step and his vertical, that's going to completely change his game. He might never be the player he once was, and that's the scariest prospect of all. Add the whole Oden thing onto it, and our hopes and dreams of a Championship are going up in smoke.

Batum is looking good so far this season. Much more aggressive offensively.

Ordinarily my knee-jerk reaction would be to think you are being overly negative ... but ... damn, I feel the same way at this moment. I think I may be in denial about Roy's knee issues, but I may be getting past that stage and entering 'Anger'. It's been easy to ignore the knee issues because of the idiotic "Roy isn't trying" threads, which were ridiculous to me, but now that it appears we have confirmation of lingering knee issues, there is no red herring to argue against.
