I heard the contrary. That KP was not a candidate for the Nets job.

Re: In KP we Trust....comrade?

from David Aldridge: David Aldridge daldridgetnt

Sources: former Blazers GM Kevin Pritchard latest exec to be scheduled for Nets' GM interview. Story up soon on NBA.com.

Re: In KP we Trust....comrade?

Hmmm, interesting. I will say this, he'd be a great guy to help them build through the draft for the next couple of years. After that? ...

Re: In KP we Trust....comrade?

From one hands-on owner to another, but the story on ESPN today was that Prokhorov had his s#it wired when it came to the FA interviews. His notes are were pretty money. I don't necessarily have the same confidence in Uncle Paul's basketball acumen

Re: In KP we Trust....comrade?

sweet, New Jersey can let it bake and not make any trades because their GM is too emotionally attached to players

Prokhorov doesn't strike me as the patient type.

Re: In KP we Trust....comrade?

That would be an EXCELLENT hire for NJ. I hope it happens. Keep KP out of the West, please.

Re: In KP we Trust....comrade?

there is no such thing as an unlimited bank roll when it comes to this business. there is only so much you can do with the caps and allen has far more money than Prokhorov.

Pritchard Scheduled For Interview With Nets

What do you guys think?

Re: Pritchard Scheduled For Interview With Nets

I like this thread more.

Re: Pritchard Scheduled For Interview With Nets

I think it is fucking awesome! An rich owner not scared to spend a bunch of cash and a straight up kick ass GM is a great combo! If hired he will turn that franchise around in 3 years!
