Lamar Odom tells media: I was blufffing. That line got one of the biggest laughs on Friday afternoon as Lamar Odom formally signed his new contract with the Los Angeles Lakers and met with media members......

.....We learned that Miami's pursuit of him was "aggressive" as he characterized it and that he had met with Pat Riley less than a week ago. And when asked if at any point during the season, post-season or the negotiation period he had it in his mind that he wouldn't return, he let go with the line about bluffing: "If I was thinking that I was bluffing", he said. "This is where I live. This is a part of me to be in LA".
Not to be outdone, Kupchak kiddingly said that if Odom was bluffing that he must have been bluffing too but wanted to leave it at that.

......He wouldn't confirm or deny the rumor that the Portland Trailblazers stepped in at the last moment to offer what was reported to be a four year offer at $8,000,000 a season. He admitted there was a last minute suitor who made a gracious offer but he had promised them that he wouldn't reveal their identity. When asked if that club was located north of Los Angeles, he laughed, and after noting that he didn't think there was a team south of the city, he said, yes...

Interesting Remark From "The Bluffer"

I doubt that he was REALLY bluffing. Of course, what would you say to other people if you had really considered leaving the team. It's not like it's appropriate to say, "Well I really considered joining the Heat cause Buss was being a jackass and not giving me a guaranteed 4th year contract."

I didn't know Portland actually offered though. I thought it was just random speculation.

It's been reported (so confirmed?) that neither of the two rumors of Riley/Wade texting/meeting with Odom and the Blazers bidding late, actually happened.

WTF really? But what about Wade's twitter?
Then that means LA was pretty much dealing against BS. >_<
