Brought cake, eggnog, bourbon balls to friends for dinner. Prepared to elegantly grate nutmeg over each glass of eggnog but I was running late and in my hurry grabbed not the nutmeg but the neighboring bottle, oregano. Oops.

Of course. As soon as I pulled the bottle from my bag the mistake was obvious. Eggnog already had nutmeg mixed in. Just wanted an elegant garnish.

My son made a delicious Christmas dinner with Ahi tuna marinated and lightly grilled, Tri tip steak with onions and mushrooms that melts in your mouth, delicious stir fry veggies and mashed potatos..wonderful meal...will have leftovers tomorrow for lunch. Wonderful day with the family!
