I'm sorry you lost me, remember I'm a computer illiterate. What do you mean you stuck a thread with links & where is it located? Also did you see ALL the links I supplied in that other thread? I supplied around 6-7 of them. And if they're not part of what you created could you add all of them to it. I would have no idea how to do it. Thanks.

It's a regular thread like this one, except it's full of links you guys want handy.

Sticky means it is stuck to the top of the list of threads in the forum, no matter how old it gets (last post time).

The first three threads in the list are "sticky" - they won't drop off the first page as they get "older."

As I mentioned in another thread, the problem with having the links where you do instead of where I suggested is that anyone that's on another team board or another sport, they always have to come back to the Yankees board to use them. and that's assuming they know where these links are to begin with. Just saying.

We can put links at the top to other forums or even other sites. However, the more links, the more "stuff" there's going to be at the top of the forum page before you get to see the actual threads. In practice, our forum users have asked us to remove these links rather than add them.

You can see examples of the links in the Blazers Off-Topic forum at the top.

Denny when I suggested they be put on the MAIN page, I meant the very first page you see when you sign on. The WELCOME page where you show the links to every site. BUT................

Okay I just thought having all the links in one location as opposed to a dozen or so different locations would be a lot easier.

Okay, on the very first page under where it says...Site news, interaction" You have 4 sites listed,

Why not add a fifth titled "Sports reference sites" And just list the sites of the 4 major sports, Baseball, Football, Basketball & Hockey. Its one location on one page where everybody would be able to find them. I supplied the links to these for you guys on the other thread I directed at you guys. So......is this possible?

Did you miss it when I said I was a computer illiterate? There's no way I would know what to do. I just figured since this was your site that maybe it wouldn't be difficult to do. Okay, it was just an idea.

It's a political issue. One of business development. BBref sites want to charge us to put a link up. We'd charge them. They haven't been willing to simply exchange links.
