Boone is an idiot, cost us about 7 games a year in is inept management of game and bullpen situations. Sanchez is a problem because of his approach to the game. Cashman has put together a lineup of all or nothing hitters who suck at situational hitting situations. The only bad luck is the injuries to starting pitching & bullpen at the worst time. However Cashman knowingly went all in on damage talent, so we shouldn't be surprised as they are breaking down. Baseball is a marathon.

This loss will cost or tie, the Yanx for the 3nd Wild Card, with the Jays. The Blue Jays sweep in the Bronx of four games has not been done buy a visiting team since prior to the beginning of time. The Jays have won something like 11 or 12 out of 13 or 14 WTF. The only team in the AL East the Yankees don't have trouble beating is a NL Team, the Marlins, or the Charleston River Dogs.

Rizzo goes deep with a solo shot. This team of losers would be lost without Rizzo in the lineup everyday.

But say he didn't, and say only this year alone, when would George have pulled the string? More than likely he would have done it during the All-Star Break, maybe?
