The cartels and the Italian mafia set up huge illegal pot farms all over Northern California in the 70s and were based out of Seattle back in the day...the cartels would do the labor and the mafia offered protection with armed guards. This sounds similar but modern day. It's like a plot line from Ozarks. I'm glad they busted them and I'm glad the president of Mexico is rounding these gang members up all over their country. Great article...enjoyed the read.

Gonna have to clean Mexico up. They are going to be replacing China as our main low cost manufacturing base for the next few decades.
