Better that reese's peanut butter cups

Better than a good morning special from your loved one

Better than the Pope

I'm glad I can say I was there for Lillard and Leonard's career high games. Both at Oakland. Gotta love the three, the two dunks, and then the hook shot.

Polar Bears look white but under that fur they have Black skin.

You would die from vitamin A overdose if you ate a Polar Bear liver

Polar bears can swim up to 100 miles (161 kilometers at a time)

Polar bears can be found in the United States, Canada, Russia, Greenland and on the Arctic islands of Norway

When a polar bear cub is born it can not see or hear for approximately a month

Which watering holes do they frequent?

I ask only to figure out how they ruin their livers.

Meyers can swim 200 miles at a clip

Meyers can only be found in Portland and sometimes atop giant bean stalks

When Meyers was born, he was unable to dunk for approximately a month

His shooting touch will force defenders to play him the hard way instead of the easy way. He has Jabbar's height; why not practice a skyhook?

Long-term: Meyers Leonard or Jonas Valanciunas?

Like Jason Kapono once said, "I should have left UCLA after my freshman year, played in Croatia, grown a beard and changed my name to Vladimir Kaponovich."

Kapono. What a waste of a good foreign name.

I just love the fact that he produced such a good quote during the 2003 draft, aka "why the fuck did the Pistons draft Darko?" draft. That was the height of the Euro-craze, and he raised a passive aggressive, yet valid point.

Some time has passed, and we're more realistic about Euro-prospects these days, but just imagine Meyers Leonard, if he were playing in Liga ACB. He'd be a top five pick in this year's draft.

Reality is that guys with Leonard's physical gifts can take some time, and he's in a great situation to develop those innate gifts. Blazers fans knew from day one that he wasn't going to be able to produce right off the bat, and that he'd be a prospect that would take some time. Everything that he's showing right now in the "garbage games" is just a foreshadowing of what could be.

Interesting. Yes, I agree. He should have taken the name Meyro Leonardo and affected an Italian accent. Naah, his nose isn't long and thin. And I don't know Danish names except Kierkegaard.

Are you guys fucking serious? Did you watch the game, or just going by his stats?

Kid looks like he will definitely have a face up game, but what else did you all see?

I did and I will explain a few things I saw. He definitely has face up capability, but I liked his passing skills. Not saying they are perfect; but he's starting to understand what to look for.

Definitely needs to improve the defense and low block scoring. Remember, Aldridge was just a face up player too. Hopefully he has the work ethic like Aldridge and improves that quickly.

Have to continue to get better day in and day out. No days off. #Focus #Determination…

lol, Id be cussing too, if another horrible, unfounded opinion was about to blow up in my face again.

He's got great skills in almost every aspect of the game, all he has to do is put it together, and that seems almost inevitable to me.

I saw spurts where I saw good D out of Meyers last night. He just looks lost out there at times and that will get better with more time.

A couple of things that have stood out to me that you just don't see very often is how active he is on offense, running around setting screens, you just don't see live body legit 7 footers running all over the court like that setting screens very often. He reminded me of Varejao in that aspect. Another thing, is on long rebounds he's the first player down the court most of the time. Uncanny for a 7 footer. That to go with his free throw touch, his touch on jump shots, the passing ability, the baby hook he showed. His body is fine, he really doesn't need that much work in the weight room he just needs to learn how to use his strength.

The only thing the naysayers can talk smack about is how he's lost on defense. That comes with time.

To not recognize him as a great young talent is to be in denial and afraid to go against your original unfounded opinion.

Varejao's a decent comparison. Lot of the same skills on O. But Andy V's a great rebounder. Leonard seems like he'll be more like Brook Lopez in that respect.

I want to see him dominant the paint on one side of the floor

Block shots
Rebound
Post scoring

Just something. Right now his rebounding is just okay and he's not blocking many shots. A lot of his scoring is on 10ft+ jumpers. Stotts loves him some big men that play on the perimeter.

I don't want a center that plays like some hybrid Eurotrash. I want a CENTER. I want Joel Przybilla with a little more offense. Przy was a great rebounder, weak side shot blocker AND post defender.
