The Bond franchise is just about as close as you can get to a money printing machine. To have to cancel a sure-fire moneymaker speaks volumes about the state of MGM.

MGM sounds like the perfect opportunity for PA and the Vulcans. They could turn that $3.7 bill loss into a $15-16 bill loss in just a couple of years.

That sucks! Daniel Craig renewed my interest in Bond movies. Not since Sean Connery has th...actually, he's the best bad-ass mofo Bond there is.

Hopefully this isn't a case where Craig is too old to resume the role when they start up again. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace were great great movies!

I just can't imagine that MGM couldn't find adequate financing to secure what is going to clearly be a positive alpha proposition.

when the company is shaky in the first place, its probably hard to get that money to finance a $200 million dollar film.
