I told my wife "Dame will score 50!" When I saw his score with 3 minutes to go. When I saw 49 I laughed and said "he should have shot another three!"

I think he was trying to get the foul as he was driving across halfcourt and when they didn't he just gave up the ball.

If you sort that by number of shots taken, he did it taking the (tied with) 14th fewest shots.
