Trump Lawyer Michael Cohen has reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors in New York.

Still, sources told CNN that Cohen is not cooperating and instead entered the guilty plea to avoid a messy trial.

Trump has blasted Cohen in recent weeks for secretly recording their conversations, including one discussing the payment of hush money to a porn star.

The feds are probing more than $20 million in loans obtained by Cohen’s family’s taxi business — and whether the porn star payments violated campaign-finance rules.

Could be, or plead to some minor BS, and be done with it. Have to figure if he and Trump have any relationship left, he will be taken care of.

See, it is a one or the other situation. Once there is a plea, you know, like guilty, it is a done deal.
 
I thought all the die hard conservatives preached fiscal responsibility but across the board they all say...tax evasion and money laundering..bank fraud....no big deal..witch hunt..etc...talk about some spin...how about breaking the fucking law and profiting from it? They're wealthy so what....that just makes them clever?

dalincoln and presidente are the worst offenders at spinning everything negative about the Trump administration. Days are getting shorter for some and not just because of the sun setting sooner.

Well, of course Cohen would be happy to plead to some minor BS and be done with it. Why would the government offer that, if he's not offering anything in return?

You know that this is about paying off the porn star..I have to think that he is only guilty of using funds from the wrong account..hmm..would expect to see co mingling

...actually, now that I think of it, Mueller really doesn't need anything additional from Cohen...he's likely had already gotten everything he needed from Cohen months ago.

They have a lot of stuff on Cohen from the raid...his plea bargain will probably be about keeping certain things out of the case for giving up the proof of obstruction with campaign funds.
