In approx 7/10 of those articles, he says at least one negative thing about the Yankees while at the same time very rarely finds something negative to say about the other NY baseball team - the NY Mets....
...and I think we've all seen their story over the past few years.

Knew a guy back in the Nineties, huge Mets Fan, he and I fought like cats and dogs. He believed every word that hack (Lupica) wrote, every time we'd talk baseball he'd ask if I read Lupicas article on this or that. My reply was that I gave up dime novels after age 10.
