On Saturday, April 10, hell officially freezes over for that cadre of Mike Parker pals who still cling to the belief that Parker’s heart is with the University of Oregon.

You see, Parker (UO class of 1982) “officially’’ becomes a Beaver during ceremonies at the black-tie Orange and Black Evening in Portland’s Pearl District.

Cool deal. Parker is great broadcaster. I'm glad the Ducks turned him down a couple of times. One thing I didn't know was that he was driving a Radio Cab for a little while after getting dumped by KFXX. I really liked his drive-time show back in the day.
