Huh? Is this a post by Bridge’s wife?? Why doesn’t she call him out by name in the post?
Why should she have to?

I agree and I'm saying its extra egregious because unlike the red neck who got fired from his minimum wage job at the factory, this guy has everything in his life just humming along making it EVEN worse and for me, impossible to understand.Doesn't matter if you're rich or poor. There's no excuse to be a piece of shit human being to be doing this kind of shit.

I’m so jaded I just assume nothing will happen to him.

He’s been patted on the back and told how awesome he is probably since the day they figured out he was a basketball phenom.
Narcissism plays a big role in these rich people feeling they can get away with murder. They truly believe they can and live in an alternate reality.
Guys, this isn't meant to be aggressive towards either one of you but none of it fucking matters. This shit has no context that makes it any worse or better. It's an extremely strong man that is over a foot taller and probably 100lbs. heavier breaking the nose and ear drum, concussing and reportedly strangling unconscious the mother of his children, reportedly in front of their children. Reportedly this isn't an isolated incident and is actually a pattern of behavior. I say reportedly about her being strangled unconcious, it being in front of their children and it being a pattern of behavior not because I doubt those things but because the medical records make the broken nose, ear drum and concussion a fact. It's some really horific stuff if it's an entitled/enabled multimillionaire pro athlete or someone unemployed on the verge of losing what little he has. It's so disgusting that the scenario surrounding it just doesn't have an effect on its level of repugnance.

I did get what you were saying and I appreciate your opinion. I just think when there is any DV incident with one person (almost always a man) who is physically dominant and not only assaults his partner but also traumatizes his children by doing these horrible things in front of them... it doesn't matter who they are, it's just too terrible to quantify for me... regardless of their standing in life but again, I hear what you're saying and your opinion is just as valid as mine. You guys are misunderstanding me. I'm saying it's even MORE insane when someone has it all. I don't get it. If someone is seeing their life go down the toilet it isn't ok, but it on SOME level makes a grain of sense. Their life is spiraling and they lash out, not at ALL ok, but I get it. I worked with DV survivors for years so this isn't a theoretical exercise for me. I saw so much of it I can't even tell you and I still worry about some of the women who disappeared. I'm saying it never made sense to me when I was working with regular people who were often very poor and it makes even LESS sense when it's some insanely rich guy. I am entitled to have that reaction and am puzzled that people seem to think I'm saying it's justified if it's a poor guy, that is not at all what I'm expressing. I'm saying this is next level insane to me.

It's hard to know if this is the first time. The reality, however, is that most incidents of domestic violence are categorized as reciprocal and in this majority, women are more often initiators. These are relevant facts to consider. Personally, if I thought people actually cared about this issue they would address domestic violence that women partake in, because more often than not, they are what brings violence into the occasion. The vast majority of DV shelters are reserved for women, despite what I just have laid out. We don't get angry with pitchforks when women hit men. We typically laugh. The reality is that the majority of DV victims probably deserved it with what they brought to the table.
I'm not saying this is what happened here. Miles Bridges could be a serial abuser for all we know. Or he could've been hit first. Who knows? But we ARE quick to judge based on "damage", regardless of the fact that violence is itself damaging regardless of whether or not you get hurt. We don't treat it that way with women. We shrug it off because we are fucking hypocrites.
Anyone else look at his wife’s IG?
Better do time if he is guilty. You just don't get violent with women or children. Period. It’s a man code. Only punkass bitches beat up on kids and women.Good. If he’s guilty I hope he does time.
They already did I think.I can't imagine any team signs him in the weeks ahead. Even for the minimum it would be toxic in Portland, probably everywhere else too.
Will Charlotte pull the QO?
They already did I think.
one of the national writers earlier today said they had not yet done so
I'll believe it when I see it. People with that kind of money always manage to avoid prison somehow.
