has never been played, even for one minute in a game. How can you think that Nate has tried anything, if he hasn't tried this line-up? What's the deal with that honestly? Why isn't he even trying it for a few minutes a game? Just seems odd to me.

I mean you can Start Blake and have Miller be the first sub off the bench. Play it like 2-3 minutes and see how it works?

I'm with ya man. They have never tried what should have been the first lineup option as soon as Batum went out. We basically have tried every lineup option besides allowing the players to play the position they are comfortable at.

That line-up is beefy. Strength at every position. All the players are big, strong and can out muscle you. A line-up like that can make a team run out of gas in the first quarter.

Also, Webster is probably the best "help defender" we have on the team right now. He is always making sure his man is covered, and will be the first to take a foul or double the person driving to the basket.

On the bench scoring may be the problem, but honestly, does that matter as much as making sure you have the best five active players on the floor? The moment Nate finally figures out that you have to leave at least 2 of those players on the floor the entire game, will be the day he finally starts having a solid flow offensively.

Miller just needs to go away, unless you value him enough to start the re-build over.

He should go away, even though he has never got to run with the offensive unit that should have been played by now, but never has been once?

YOU HAVE TO AT LEAST GIVE THAT GROUP A CHANCE TO PLAY TOGETHER!

Don't you have inside connections? GET' 'ER DUN!!

Oh, wait....Roy has already gone to Nate saying he refuses to play with Miller unless Blake is on the floor at the same time. :devilwink:

Man, I've got a bunch of inside info, but not about this. Wish I could help.

Here is some inside info. Asked James Jones if he was rooting for the Ducks or Beavs. He looked at my Duck hat and said UofO............ cause it's the same green as UofMiami! HAHA!

Winston Churchill once said, "You can always count on Americans to do the right thing; after they've exhausted every other possibility."

My guess is we'll see that lineup right after we experiment with going to Blake/Roy/Webster/Cunningham/Przybilla.

Wow that kid in your avatar only got a couple of sips of beer down before they passed out? What a pussy!:ghoti:

My daughter just can't put em down like her pops!

It just sepaks volumes to me that this line up hasnt been on the floor even one single minute of any game this season. None. Zip. Zero. Zilch. How in the flow of 20 games this year has that line-up not been together even by chance? You know why? You have to TRY not to make that line-up happen. In other words Nate is purposely not trying that line-up and that ..... is fucking stupid.

So is Nate that stubborn or does Roy REALLY honestly have THAT much control over this team? I dont know which one is worse. Hey Nate, if it doesnt work, it doesnt work. But at least TRY it.

Its amazing that this all over a player like Blake. Crazy in fact. A player I would actually be very very happy to have as a back-up. I simply cant believe that it has got to this point.

I must compliment you on the awesome avatar.

Would have been more of an effective look if the glass was, like, half full or so.

Where do you get that info? I checked 82games.com and I couldn't find a complete list of five man units.

I opened the box score for each game and checked the starting unit.

The interesting part of 82games data is that you can't even find a combination with Miller at the point and Roy at the SG, regardless of who is at the 3-5 positions. At least not in the top 10.

If Miller and Roy are in the game, then Brandon is the SF.

That doesn't account for in-game units, though.

Doesn't the whole fact that it cannot even be listed in top 10 10 man units speak for it's playing time enough? Some of those units listed there are garbage time units and they have got more run thant the unit we spoke of. So that in itself is evidence of them not playing that unit, because it would have definitly been higher than any of the garbage units.

To be fair, ABM was responding to checking the starters in the box score, not looking on 82games.

I've been saying this for awhile now. Give this group a chance. It can't do any worse than falling behind by 20 points again with Blakey in there. Brandon will just have to suck it up and believe that Andre will get him the ball.

Nate has been very focused on trying to get Roy on track. Roy has expressed that he and Miller don't work the best together. Basically nate finds it more important to get Roy going than to put Miller in the starting line up.

Maybe with Roy's new take (take #5), this will allow Nate to try Miller without worrying if it si going to derail Roy getting back to where he was last year.

Is this really true? I mean, really?! If so, wow! This is astonishing. A lineup that many thought should have been from the getgo has not even a minute of playing together.

Yes it is true. There are no minutes logged with that lineup in game to my knowledge, and believe me, I have been watching for it.

You'd think at this point that Nate would be willing to try anything.

Which is BS. Roy is a big Boy he doesn't need coaches help to get going.

Starting Lineup: Your Best Players. DO IT DAMN IT

Why do you think that? Based on his track record, that seems to be the last thing he'd do.
