Instead of a Miller vs. Roy = Distraction; I would love to see Miller + Roy = success
It would be totally awesome if this change of events took place....
(phone rings)
Miller (with a tired voice) = hello???
Roy (enthusiastic voice) = Hey Dre, would you mind coming over for dinner? I have something to talk to you about.
Miller = um, yeah sure... what is it?
Roy = Well er, I know there were things said in the past, mainly by me and the media; and well um... I want to apologize. I want us to work together and I need you to help me come to terms with my physical ability.
Miller = Nah man it ain't like that. Never mind that shit...
Roy = It's not just about that Dre. I really need someone like you that can play "heady". Someone that can facilitate and be crafty with the ball.
Miller = okay um, well sure man... What ya need me to do?
Roy = Work together so I can help this ball-club. Learn how to play with you. Learn how to find the sweet spots for our team mates. Most importantly, learn how to play "old skool b-ball!"
Yeah I know, bad impressions on the players, but give me a break. I really think the Miller and Roy combo done right could be a really effective back-court.
