Look at what Cleveland and Golden State are doing:

The most MPG on EITHER team is 31. Why aren't we doing this? We have the roster - a ton of switchable 6'6-6'9 guys, so why is Jabari entirely out of the rotation, and (worse sin) Kris Murray getting spot minutes? I get it, you want to play Toumani 48 minutes - I would too! But he'll get injured because he can't NOT go all-out, and while Kris can't replicate his pitbull defense, he's actually a better scorer and his defense is very good. I mean, last night, here are the minutes of our forwards:
Grant - 39
Toumani - 38
Deni - 24
Kris -4 (in which time he was 2-2)
Rupert - DNP
Jabari - DNP

And we were getting killed by "J-Dub" (honestly I got so fucking sick of hearing the OKC announcers on my feed calling him that) so couldn't we have used a fresh 6'8" guy on him?

Agreed , I've always thought coaches play guys way too many minutes. No reason for anyone to average more than 30. We want to see how a big portion of our roster develops and we don't care about winning games. With less minutes guys can also try harder on both O and D.

Now if it's a playoff team with a bad bench I kind of understand pushing the starters. But that's not us.

But I actually like the way he's got us playing - it just seems that spreading the minutes around should be part of that.
Same. He’s much better than Stotts and Nate at gameplan and rotation, given what he’s working with.

Kris has actually shown something in glimpses this year, id offload Grant and simons asap (as long as theres decent deals) and prioritize more mins for Kris/Deni/Dalano. Walker has been trash anyway I’m not worried about him unless it’s just for some boards
