If we got Mirotic, I'd start him at PF and hope he fulfills the promise he had coming into the league. The Bulls played him out of position at SF a lot of the time. He's at least as good a 3pt shooter as Aminu, and possibly better. He's a better scorer, too.
Per 36, he's a 16/8 guy with 1.2 blocks (last year).
He's a career .350 3pt shooter, with a career high of .390.
He's 25 and only played 3 seasons in the NBA so far.
The team option for $12.5M next year gives NO the flexibility to keep him if he pans out, or get out from under his contract if not.
Would you guys do Meyers and a 1st for him?
Maybe one of the two. It probably would take that, IMO.So how much would you give up for him? If they took Leonard they would want Swanigan or Collins as well.

Aminu is shooting 52% from three and playing DPOY-level defense. Not sure Mirotic could match that. Aminu is not what's wrong with this team. He's the last guy we should be looking to replace.
Paul has said in the past that he doesn't mind to pay for a winning team. And the Blazers are not a rebuilding team anymore.Maybe one of the two. It probably would take that, IMO.
The question for NO is if he wants to pay Mirotic $12.5M going forward. Quite possibly/likely not.

it's one thing to get in a scuffle and let tempers flare and all that, but this guy got his face broken and his brains scrambled with one punch! He will be going back to Europe ASAP.Unfortunately I think I am going to have to agree that it is likely you are correct. He probably turns into timid Rudy now. And I loved Rudy before the injury....I don't think he will ever be the same after getting knocked the fuck out by his own teammateit's one thing to get in a scuffle and let tempers flare and all that, but this guy got his face broken and his brains scrambled with one punch! Nards is still on our team?Mirotic is perfect for our trade exception.
Let's combine my other trade idea I had recently.
BOS Gets:
Vonleh (Using $8.4M Injury Exception)
2019 LAL/MIN (Most Favourable-Via POR)
CHI Gets:
2018 BOS 1st
POR Gets:
Mirotic (Using Traded Player Exception)
Lillard (35) / McCollum (13) / Napier
McCollum (22) / Pat (15) / Turner (11)
Harkless (25) / Turner (19) / Mirotic (4)
Aminu (26) / Mirotic (22) / Swanigan
Nurkic (30) / Davis (18) / Collins
I like that.
