Weak ending to the A's/Tigers game. Thought Oakland would at least put up a fight.

I was at Saturday game, still hoarse, everyone was on their feet screaming entire game. That one will be replayed forever. Classic.

A's up 6-3 5th inning Game 3.

I was switching back and forth. It was scoreless when I last checked it.

May I curse? FUCKFUCKFUCK! The A's gave away the game and very possibly the series. Yes, a bad call on the ball the fan grabbed but had the relievers done their jobs the ball would not have been hit like that. Had the hitters done their job it would not have mattered. Loaded bases with no outs down by a run and get nothing!

And the worst was, I started listening at work, continued on the way home, got home in the bottom of the 8th inning and the assholes next door were cheering every time an A made an out. They are not Tigers fans (that would be forgivable), they are Giants fans, in the East Bay, cheering for the A's to lose.

I hope the Giants go 0-162 next year, every player demands a trade, the manager gets fired, the accountant is busted for embezzling and the GM for dealing dope and the fancy-ancy stadium collapses in an earthquake with my neighbor inside!!!!

Now ask me how I really feel.....

That was not a bad call. I understand the passion and all, but Reddick was not going to catch that ball, and it was over the home run line.

Scherzer was awesome, and that is the reason the A's lost that game.

That would be so weird to have another pro team just across the river.... it would be like Vancouver having a basketball team. I don't know how I would handle it.

Well the Pirates are done. Im rooting for a Dodgers-A's World Series with the Dodgers taking it in 7. Red Sox are tough though

Too bad for the A's, but I can't say I feel too bad for a team with 9 championships, the most recent coming in 1989.

In an effort to not let this thread slip off the first page, I'd just like to say Go Dodgers!!

I'm so conflicted! When I was little I supported the Dodgers (because they were my home town team's MLB affiliate); when I started playing baseball as a teenager my club was called the Cardinals, so I supported St Louis. I've never been able to separate the two; and now they're playing each other, I don't know who to root for. This is the same reason there's no MLB team in my avatar.
