I would guess those weren't done in order? Because there is no way that Vancouver is higher on the list than Portland is, especially given Vancouver is closer to Seattle than Portland.

I don't get how they were like "Salt Lake City" isnt' near any other teams, when its own market could be claimed by the Dodgers AND the Rockies.

That's not to say SLC isn't the leader in the clubhouse, but it's just strange that SLC is relatively close to the Dodgers, Padres, Diamondbacks, Rockies and (soon to be) Vegas.

I think their attendance is low due to capacity.

Sacramento's biggest hurdle is the fact they're 90 miles from San Francisco.

One of MLBs goals was to put a team on an area that has population but is under represented.

Sacramento being 90 miles away really hurts their case. But it makes for neat headlines and any chance people can diminish Portland, it's good.

Not that I have much faith in the T-shirt and hat company tho.
