OK fine ... I said he looked good (and he looked good without a "good big")

Pretty much sums up my feelings. Felton looked a lot better than I ever remember seeing him play. Part of that might have been because of a kind of terrible Jazz team and the paucity of actual professional point guards we've had in Portland in recent years, but he looked good.

Which surprised me because I've seen lots of "not so good" Felton over the years ... and then some people expressed they were surprised I was surprised. Which I find surprising.

Portlandia is a more accurate description of Hipsters than "modern day hippie" description. Meta means when the description or piece starts to involve the reader by the person reading it. For example, the Yo Dawg! meme.

Okay I'm cool now. "Meta" is the plural form of the word jeans and "hipster" is the culture of the Southeast. So if I'm in leotards eating cumbaya in Georgia I'm a nonmeta hipster. Thanks for the help and an hour ago I visited my son and for the first time I watched "How I Met Your Mother," a silly comedy about semi-attractive foursomes, made real by the fact that the actual deranged M.F. was roaming around downstairs. So I'm learning fast about your odd little youth culture, and thanks again.

This exactly. Living in Houston, I am forced to have league pass to watch the Blazers. I have been able to see Felton plenty because of league pass, and was expecting something different than what I saw last night as well.

You've said for years you don't watch the NBA other than the Blazers. Was that all a lie?
