Mod proposal: Put Political discussion in its own sub-group

The OT Board has lately devolved into political bullshit arguing (as if it was anything else ever?). To filter the ridiculousness, I propose creating a side group, like the Ducks/Beavers/Timbers groups and move all political circlejerking to there, so the rational ones among us don't have to be bombarded with the ignorance and retardation from BOTH SIDES on a constant basis.

We could further subdivide. How about every screen name beginning with A-J in one board, and everyone K-Z on another? We'll need to argue over where the screen names starting with numbers or punctuation go.

How bout this. Denny is on his own board with the hundreds of threads he starts, and everyone else is on a smaller board, the one with threads started by anyone else.

As we're entering into the political season, I'm fairly certain that these parts will continue to be peppered with "propaganda" and the like from across the spectrum. Seems to me like a prudent thing to do.....that is, establishing a political sub-forum.

How about splitting it into an argument board and an agreement board. If you agree with anything, you post to the nice, easygoing board. If you want to fight, you go to the violent board. Agree?

The simple solution is to bring Hap/Dan back as an OT mod. That way, any political posts that he doesn't agree with can be deleted, and multiple posters can be banned for not being on Team Obama.
