Why can't they stop the pain, mgb? I sure am getting reminders of my own mother here.

They do give her pain meds and that helps, but if it is moved at all it's very painful and at times she'll just get a jab of pain even with the meds. She also don't like to ask for pain meds and will say she's ok when she isn't.
 
Mine was on morphine for 2 weeks in a Tokyo military hospital. Morphine is addictive and usually used only for hours or minutes, but that's all they had. The first memory I have is at age 2 years 8 months, when she stepped onto ice while carrying me and broke her ankle. She was pregnant and I still remember her lying in the snow.

Anyway, I hope your lawyer is documenting the pain. Anyone who posts here is probably mental, so keep close tabs on this suspicious lawyer.
