...^^^ Yup, people can blame Girardi all they want but Yates didn't even come close to doing his job...hit 3 batters, walked 1 batter, and gave up 2 hits.
...it's also easy to claim after the fact that Joe should have pulled Chapman after he walked the first batter he faced but to do so is just silly...Chapman is the closer and you don't just arbitrarily pull him because he walked the first batter he faced. Besides, after inheriting a 3-1 count left by Chapman, Yates then struck out Choo (looked like the right move at the time, no?)...only afterwards did Yates commence to flat out sucking....Yeah, that's all Joe's fault.
