Meh. Sky is falling in here as usual. The loss to the Isles was really a stinker, but the one last night was a tight defensive game where both goalies played fantastic. They got the "bounce", we didn't, a soft goal was going to happen to one of those two goalies there, Hank knows he needed to stop that, but no one, goalies included, are perfect. He stopped 25 of 26 (.962). We hit a few pipes, one off Prices back, etc, just didn't get the bounce.

I certainly agree with sentiment that we need to add a top 9 guy, preferably one with some balls and the ability to win draws, but lets not get carried away here, Hags sucks, Zuc sucks, McD sucks, Hank sucks...

PK Subban is a piece of shit, that was really classless, I really wish someone would have punched him in the face, but I guess we cant take a penalty for that in a 0-0 game....

You guys need to relax. They're only halfway through the season, and two games back from the break. They will begin to find the net again

5 more years of soft, declining Staal. Ugh. :craphead::evilfire::drumroll::grim:

Come on 71, Staal wasn't the problem last night. In fact he was laying the wood all over the ice like the pre-injury staal last night. The d-man I am concerned with now is Mcdonagh as he is turning over the puck over and over and I am starting to think he must have some kind of injury he's playing with that the team is being quiet about. Boyle is a big liability out there. Hard to watch the munchkin trio of msl, zucc and hags gets pushed all over the ice by any good team with size. Wish av would have given kreids the go ahead to beat the crap out of subban instead of "the no goey kreidy look". Ugh. Would have given team a big lift watching kreids wipe the floor up with subban as he looked possessed with him out there. As for useless glass loses fight with prust. Team will straighten out so no need to panic but I agree with others that slats needs to make a move or 2 to get some more size and scoring in here.

We let up one goal and Staal was the issue...LOL. Girardi stinks as well...LOL.

Love it.

Where's the sky falling? We're simply saying the team obviously needs some changes if they want to make another run. This roster as it stands is not good enough.

1994 team had the best record before the DL and Neil Smith still traded for like 5 new guys to upgrade the team. The guy who needs to be moved is Hagelin for top 6 guy. Zucc will be ok on the third line. As chuck said, he does not have much value since he is a UFA so it will be hard to move him. Add a gritty forward, a face-off specialist for the fourth line and the way we go.

It is going to take a mindless drunken GM to take hags or zucc for a better more physical top 6 player. Ask yourself why...why would a team take either a pending rfa in hags or a pending ufa zucc, one who will look to cash in one his one good season? You dont trade any assets for a undersize quick player. Here let me give you a top 6 player for one who is a 3rd liner and make you better...right...oh wait you will throw in AAAA players who can crack your squad so they can play with my teams AAAA players on my ahl team...yippie..deal...wait..u will also throw in a second rounder too...wow...

dont expect this to happen. Yes the gomez for mcd deal looks extremely one sided those are thr RARE deals not the norm.

You're lost Al. Teams crave speed. Hagelin was a beast in the playoffs last year. He should have had about 10 more points. Even with his lack of finishing, he had every team on their heals. Hagelin is a top defensive forward with 30-40 point offense. Zucc is a legit 40-50 player who is sound defensively. If you think those guys grow on trees, you're on smoke.

I don't think people are saying a team will give up a 2nd line power forward for those guys. However, I don't teams out there worry about signing Zucc if they trade for him. Zucc wants to play in the NHL and now he's looking to cash in. Give him a good contract, good chance he'll sign with that team.

If the Canucks wanted to put together a package of Gaunce, Kassian and a 2nd for Zucc I would roll the dice and do it. I think the Canucks would do that deal in about 5 seconds. I think AV stands a good chance of turning Kassian into our Pouliot and Gaunce into another Boyle.
