"More than mean"

What is the point of this? Have you seen the Pew poll that shows that men are harassed online more than women in every category save stalking? Is this your idea of fair, balanced, and rational?

edit:

Let me guess, you probably believe full force in the abstraction that is so clearly evidenced: The Bernie Bros.

Can we blame white guys for this?

Seems appropriate.

Nice to see that, when asshole internet trolls are under attack, there will always be brave souls ready to step forward and stand up for them.

You meant this one that doesn't support what you are saying?

"In broad trends, the data show that men are more likely to experience name-calling and embarrassment, while young women are particularly vulnerable to sexual harassment and stalking."

name-calling and embarrassment vs. sexual harassment and stalking

Who comes out ahead in that one?

To me, this is part of a bigger overall problem. This type of social media interaction is a type of "bullying." Meaner than mean.... And that's what a bully is. We give too much import to non-intellectual thought. It gives complete strangers unentitled self importance to viciously attack and threaten people.

A friend showed me a series of posts on his Facebook page from both men and women, just the most childish, vague and threatening things you could ever not want to receive. Once one person started in then it was like a dog pile. I rarely use Facebook and I'm never getting a Twitter account EVER.

People don't act like that in public for fear of embarrament or retribution. But seem to throw away restraint on the Internet...... Maybe the phrase is "Kiss your mother with that keyboard?" Is appropriate.

Well, let's admit to both being false. Your graphic seems to want to narrow down the demographic to make sure women have it worst(which was the point of the OP). I merely failed to mention the category of sexual harassment, which I admit I mistakenly left off.
