I think you should anyway. More participants gives greater variability to the results placement, making good predictions that much more valuable. If I correctly predict the winner but am 20 points off, it's lame that I might still be 2nd place because it's out of only 8.

You can totally exempt yourself from prize-winning and still play.

Or maybe the obvious reasons are simply our fragile male egos, and you just don't want to make us feel completely inferior by dominating us month after month.
