Most Overated Players

In a players Poll, Bryce Harper was the most over-rated player, by his peers. MLB Tonight revealed these Player Polls, of their own peers. It is MLB TV's opinion, that Player Polls often are based on dislike and/or jealousy of the player voted most over-rated, by all MLB Players. At his age, Harper has outperformed, Tony Conigliaro, Al Kaline, Ken Griffey Jr. and a few other greats…

Obviously MLB Players are fickle.....

These are the players who I feel are over-rated.......

Most Over-Rated:
Adrian Beltre
Josh Hamilton
Albert Pujols (please prove me wrong Albert)
Dan Uggla
Jason Werth-less
Prince Fielder
Ryan Braun
A-Roid

Most overpaid does not qualify, or we would have to place Gardner in this list of most over rated, tho' Gardner to me is not over rated, he is just overpaid..........

Bryce Harper-Over Rated??? No fucking way....!!!! Harper is making headway's at a very young age. BTW-Has anyone seen the top 100 plays of MLB on MLB TV????

Play #43, Bryce Harper runs face first into the outfield wall in Dodger Stadium (I believe). When chasing down a ball, which he could not catch up with, then flies face first into the hard post behind the mats on the OF/RF wall at 375 feet, damn near knocked him out cold, no bloody nose, no broken teeth, yet Harper was down for awhile.... Shades of Johnny Damon, the Human Crash Test Dummy in Fenway, who flew face first into the iron gate in Right CF, almost leaving his body impression into the iron, damn near, knocked Johnny for a loop.

I don't think Beltre is overrated - He HAS proven to be and continues to be one of the very best - if not THE best all around 3b in all of MLB.

Prince Fielder is putting up sure-fire HOF numbers but has been a horrible post season player including last year when he made a fool of himself on the bases and (of course) offensively. When it comes to post season - he does turn into a fat useless slob.

I like your takes on Beltre and Fielder, they could be a strong one two punch, no doubt. That is if Fielder doesn't follow in his dad Cecil's shoes.

Cause I would said without PEDs, Shrek (David Ortiz) is without question the most overrated player in the game!

Good one Hammer....I was going to put Ortiz in the list of Over Rated, and yes, you should factor in PED user's.

IMO, any PED user should be on the list of over rated, like Braun, since we've never really seen a clean year from him.

Papi makes me puke, makes me sick how people so adore the light hitting Twins 1st baseman. I also think Oritiz has cheated beyond what MLB knows. Another A-Roid just as worse IMO...
