Think about it. Colin Powell, a military hero, wouldn't run for president out of fear of these KKK types.

why dont they just deem the KKK a terrorist organization and imprison anyone in it? what they're saying they want to do is basically the same thing that al queda is trying to do. i mean just throw em all in jail and let them get there asses pounded in prison

If/when Obama gets elected, how long is the KKK going to last before it gets outlawed. It's not like it even serves a purpose. It just a bunch of racist pricks with nothing better to do with their time than make non-white peoples lives a living hell.
 
I'm not really stunned by this. He has the possibly to be the first black president in the United States; there's no surprise that he would get such threats from organizations like the KKK.

Obama just needs to watch his back.

they're citizens and what they are doing is deemed to be more of a legal beleif or religion

Also, the KKK don't meet the criteria to be determined a terrorist organization, though they could conceivably be charged under various RICO statutes as an organized criminal entity.

That's my thought. If he gets elected, the White House is going to be a modern day castle. There's going to be so much security there it won't even be funny.
