Wait what….. Sudafed works. What are they asking about?
If I have a cold I usually go with alkaseltzer and that lessens the effects. For extreme cold symptoms I think Sudafed works wonders.

OTC Sudafed doesn't do anything for me. But if we get the stuff from the pharmacy (the real sudafed, with pseudoephedrine) it works well.

Absolutely. You have to get real Sudafed. It’s in limited supply currently because of the high demand due to flu/Covid/rsv season.

“What are the active ingredients in Alka-Seltzer effervescent products? All effervescent products contain anhydrous citric acid (antacid) and sodium bicarbonate (antacid). Alka-Seltzer Original, Extra Strength and Lemon-Lime also contain aspirin (analgesic). Alka-Seltzer Gold contains potassium bicarbonate (antacid).”
Take a Tums and an aspirin for the same effect.
