MVP Predictions for next year. Not ONE Roy vote!

I wouldn't sweat it. MVP predictions are even more centered around flash and sizzle than the prize itself. Roy's game has never lent itself to style over substance, and I'd just as soon keep it that way.

He's stuck behind some luminaries at his position, so I'm not concerned that he's not El Numero Uno in people's minds yet. When Kobe retires, he'll move from 2nd team to 1st team all-NBA. Then, a championship Finals MVP, then... then, the MVP ballots will sing!

First you get the money... then you get the power... :cheers:

Derrick Rose will only win the MVP if he has someone else take his MVP test for him.

:pimp::drumroll::ghoti:

Why wouldn't you vote for James? Seriously. Unless you are going to predict a freak injury, there's just no way he doesn't win it again.

Ok--I just thought of one: if Dwight Howard rounds out his offensive game over the summer and starts averaging 25-26 ppg, you might have to give it to him. Possible, but not likely. Hedo set him up better than anyone on his team.

Those guys are going to put up some huge #'s. B's won't be on there level, but he is an MVP talent, no question!

Roy doesn't really deserve an MVP vote, does he? :dunno:

Indeed. Second coming of Clyde The Glide! B-Roy should be called B-Smooth. He's so valuable that his valuableness spreads out amongst his team hiding his true value and leaving him short of the MVP award. All with the least amount of effort. . :pimp:

Not suprising. BRoy needs to do some winning in the playoffs before he should be considered and MVP candidate.
