To all members of SportsTwo and the Blazers forum,

My name is Microsuck. You may have not heard about me, you may have. On April 30th, 2011, I irreversibly deleted 386 threads from the forum. I also closed, and deleted many posts. Some were able to be put back, the others are permanently gone. I am writing this letter to all of you as an apology and an explanation for what happened.
Truebluefan, an administrator, brought me on board as a global moderator, showing great trust in me. Despite global moderators' privileges, he assigned to two forums, the Spurs forum, and the Soccer forum. In all my past experiences as a global moderator, we were always allowed to moderate all forums, and as a result of that, I figured it would be okay to do the same at SportsTwo. My second explanation, is that I had no idea that SportsTwo and the Blazers forum keep to themselves and run their forum separately, and that the moderators at Blazers forum, do not moderate SportsTwo, and vice versa. I was unaware of the setup, and that is my fault for being blatantly ignorant and not asking why the theme was different on both boards. Now that you have read my explanations, it is time for me to sincerely apologize to all of you. I cannot express my regret of my actions in words anymore. I very much enjoy SportsTwo, and I cannot believe I would do something so stupid. I am so, so sorry for what I have done, and it WILL NOT happen again. As I told truebluefan, if I were to screw up again, I would EXPECT him to permanently ban me from SportsTwo and issue me an IP address ban as well, which completely bars my access even to the domain. So once again, I am so very sorry to all of you for interrupting your conversations, for upsetting you, and for my wrongful actions in general.

P.S. I will not be banned from SportsTwo, however, truebluefan and I have decided it be best I was banned from the Blazers forum.

I mean, I don't really give a flying fuck who he is, or what he does, but is this site so hard-up for mods that they are giving this guy a second chance?

Also, deleting posts that you don't agree with isn't a mistake. It's an abuse of authority, and I expect you to do it again.

You guys are used to the Blazers' forum being a certain way, which is great. We've had a LOT of moderators from other sites try moderating here under our rules and quite a few take issue with things like an OT post about LeBron that "rightly belongs in the Heat forum." That's not how I see it, but I've talked to enough moderators of the past few years who feel this way, so I've come to accept that there are just two camps of people and their views.

To those who are used to LeBron posts always being in the Heat forum, and OT posts belonging in the site's OT forum, our organization looks messy and they want to clean it up.

Why the permanent deletions? Brain fart? I dunno.

It's pretty clear around here that "LeBron" OT posts belong in the main forum because this is a pretty active pro basketball forum with a focus on the blazers. If we wanted to discuss other teams with the whole site we'd all go over to their forums. We don't, so we do it here. I don't think Microsuck needs to lay himself on the alter but yeah it was kinda stupid to come in here and moderate without context. We forgive you Microsuck and Truebluefan, no more sorry threads!
