its not very good but i wanted to try a manip...any tips on how to make a good one?

It's better, but just play around with maybe brushing, gradients, and other things.

Yeah I'd say you still need to mess around with it a little more, the main pictures look to plain, add some color or something.Definitely good for a first attempt.
