Fuck. First the Blazers lose to the Clippers, now this. I still have representation in LA but I live in NYC now and plan on staying here. This sucks.
 
Was he getting you much work in NY? Maybe this is a good thing.
 
No they weren't but they were getting me some good auditions. But yes, this could be a good thing if I can find another agent.
 
Did he give you a reason like he didn't think you were performing well or that he thought you could do better than he or some crap like that?

It's a she and all she said was is "your contract's up and we can't afford to keep you on" which is bullshit. It could be as simple as I haven't booked anything in a year and that's true.

I recommend craigslist. Lots of agents on there.

I've put out calls and emails to casting directors who know and like me and am hoping they'll guide me to an agent. I also called an agent that knows my work. It still sucks. I have friends with agent who just dropped me and I have better credits than them.

Thanks guys. I just got good news. DGRW (a very good agency) is bringing me in to meet with the whole office on April 14th. If that goes well, I'll be back on my feet. Whew, this makes me feel a little better. And yes, Riverman, Portlandia would be awesome. By the way, is your avatar a picture of you? I like to imagine that's what you look like.
