I am the father...oh wait

Two weeks ago I got a tumor removed from the back of my neck. The doctors told me it looked like a Lymphona or Carcinoma. They said it looked malignant.

They sent the tumor from my neck to the lab. I got the results back. They were wrong.

It is a sclerotic Fibroma. It is benign. The doctor wants to do further tests because it is usually associated with another disease in which multiple tumors grow inside you.

It's wonderful that it's not Lymphoma or Carcinoma but fingers crossed it's not the other thing.

Wasn't too worried about Carcinoma though I am glad it turned out not to be. That one is slow growing and easy to beat. Lymphoma was the one I was worried about. What a relief it is to hear it is also not that.

They are going to check for multiple hamartoma which is the disease that spawns tumors all over the inside of your body. I don't want that either. Going to do MRI's to make sure.

Also going to do a brain scan to check for Lhermitte-Duclos a benign brain tumor.

Fuck ya!!!!!

So happy for you. Good luck going forward
Do you know what FTA meant back in the late 60s?
It meant Fuck the Army. Nobody wanted to be in the Army in those days. I've heard that I got to take Trump's place, who was painfully and regrettably out with, bone spurs, so I'm gonna say FTT.

Good to hear the tumor was benign and hope the other issues are able to be taken care of as well. We had a serious situation happen several years ago when my daughter was going into her senior year and was prepping to play soccer for her school. She noticed a bulge in her stomach and showed her mom and we took her to the doctor and they did an MRI and found a large mass in her abdomen. The doctor lined us up with a surgeon who happened to also be a friend as my son and his son played on the same club soccer team and we went over what the plan was. He was also a soccer player and said his plan was to be unevasive as possible, but if he isn't able to he would have to make a large up and down incision and she would be laid up for awhile and miss her senior year of soccer. Well, after 5 hours of surgery the doctor came out and said he got it all and that he was able to do it with a small incision. H e said the tumor was weighed in at a little over 10 lbs. He said all indication was that it was benign but the tumor was sent in for analysis just to be sure. It checked out benign and she was actually playing her first soccer game less than 2 weeks after surgery.

Hang in there buddy and hope your issue gets taken care of.

Did your daughter play on crumb rubber?

Yep, the first field was the one at Delta Park and now they are all over the place. I played baseball at Civic Stadium (Providence Park) when they had the old astro turf and that was like playing on cement with a rubber coated ball.

There is a cancer connection with crumb rubber fields. You should look into it.

Her days of playing are long gone and not sure of the exact composition of the ones she has played on anyway as the majority of her games were on natural grass fields.
