Is there one of those in Portland too? Seattle has one in Fremont for Solstice...most of the naked riders look like you guys and that is not a good thing.

Just looking it up real quick I saw that in 2010 there were 74 cities in 17 countries doing these.

I did it 3 years ago. It was awkward and pretty uncomfortable at first, especially since I was with my females roommates and all her their friends, but as the night wore on it kind of became second nature. Ultimately, I think it was good for me as it helped me a bit with my natural shyness. Will I do it again? Eh........maybe someday. But, I feel it was worth it for me to live outside of my comfort zone for a night and have a lot of strange fun doing so.

On a different not, what handclap mentioned up there caused me to think of that author gal we met on the walk the other day. She wrote that "naked" book. Not certain, but I'm thinking the premise was to live your life as if you were walking around naked. Helps shed feelings of inadequacy, nervousness.....even deals with pretentiousness, and the like.
