Not bad, you're right about the texts because it could use some work IMO. Try doing some effects on the Nathan Vasher cut to make the sig look good. You'll get better.

You really just picked a bad font IMO. I dont think the script fonts really works there and then you should change the text effects to blend it into your background.

Yep,text looks horrible here.For the pic effect,maybe try adding a slight blue tint to him to make him blend into the BG more.Just my opinion though.Nice BG by the way.
