And sometimes reality is even better than could be imagined.
Jerome Thompson experienced the latter on Friday night as a member of the Buffalo Bandits. He had four goals and an assist to lead his team to a 15-12 victory over the Minnesota Swarm before 12,756 in First Niagara Center.
The Edmonton Rush scored the first four goals and went on to hand the New England Black Wolves their second straight defeat Friday night, beating the Black Wolves 18-9 before 5,257 fans at Rexall Place. It was the first road game for the Black Wolves (2-2), playing their first season in the National Lacrosse League.
