The play before on the other side of the court I remember seeing Meyers get shoved enough so that he fell back stumbling, almost enough to fall. I don't know who pushed him but he was definitely shoved on the other side of the court immediately before the resulting trip down the court. I'm guessing the player who pushed him before was Williams.

Leonard's sudden improvement in defense may be caused by some pushing we don't see. He used to foul too much. Maybe he has finally learned to hide (from spectators and refs, but not from opponents) fouls when he tries to stop players under the hoop. This plus the blowout frustrated Williams.

I'm just hypotheticatically conjecturating.

Actually you are wrong... Watch the recap. Freeland definitely was jawing with Williams, but Williams was 8 ft away. Then Williams turned around and started walking towards Freeland and got in his face. Then Williams pushed his head in Freeland, and Freeland used his soccer skills to head butt that dip shit of a brain Williams back into his neck.

No, that's crap. Joel was jawing with Williams, but Williams initiated physical contact. It doesn't matter what Joel might have been saying, Williams has no excuse for his head butt. Freeland's however is absolutely justifiable as self-defense.
