Right now, there are just too many variables.
What does the team realistically expect out of Oden and Joel?
Is the team committed to Bayless as the back-up PG.
Are they committed to keeping Rudy, or are they willing to move him and make Bayless the back-up SG?
Are they going to use the MLE, or are they worried about the luxury tax? Who would be available if they do go looking for a vet?
I honestly can't decide if the team should go for a "project" big man, or a guard who will allow them to replace Rudy. (or a SF to bump Webster further down the bench)
(The latter implies going for a guy who may have a lower ceiling, but is NBA ready)
