I wish there were some way to measure his dribbling ability.
From what I've seen, the G-league has given him many opportunities to work on that, especially dribbling through traffic, which isn't something you'd want him experimenting on very often in an NBA game. I think as his dribbling with defenders nearby improves, the number of wacky 2-point attempts that he throws up will decrease.

I don’t think there’s going to realistically be a way to do so. He’s going to be a guy who comes in after a summer and surprise the fans with his improvement. Whether that’s next season or the season after that, who knows. His defense is the other thing I’m unsure of when it comes to tracking his progress. None of the GL games I’ve seen had a lot of defense being played.

The shooting improvement and being able to grab boards are all good signs though.
