Call me crazy, but I'd actually take Roy over KG and Bosh.
Also Wade over Paul.
And Oden shouldn't be one the list, IMO.

Durant #12. Did we have a chance at drafting him?

I made the mistake in thinking that the list was heavily based on production. Oden of course has tons of upside but he is a liability offensively and is turnover prone and ridiculously foul prone (about 4 in 22 minutes).not bashing your thoughts.. but how many of the players below Oden would you actually take over him? not very many for me.
KG was injured last season so it's a tough call. But I do think he has declined significantly to the point where Roy is better than him.For one season, it's hard to argue that KG isn't better- but at this point in their careers, Roy is much more valuable.
But I would have trouble deciding between Wade and Paul- Paul is, in my opinion, the best at his position. Wade is great, but a little more injury prone in his style of play.

...
Guys like Biedrins, Randolph, Gerald Wallace, and even Al Harrington, Nate Robinson and TJ Ford are currently better or were better last season. I can't definitively say where he would be, but I wouldn't put him in the top 100.
No Steve Blake???????

I didn't even read the intro I just sort of skimmed through the list. That said, I still wouldn't put Oden ahead of my aforementioned players. I don't expect much of an improvement as it usually takes big men a few years to develop. The list is not about past production, it's about predicting the coming year. That was obvious from the get-go when they explained why Yao Ming was omitted.
Gilbert Arenas at #36 is further proof. If the list is about ranking the coming year, I think Oden is about where I'd rank him. He wouldn't be on the list at all if I were to rank last year.
I assume he's using that to his advantage in negotiations. I do think Bargnani is overpaid and Aldridge is more or less worth $10M per.So if Bargnani is 70th and worth $50M for five years, what is LMA worth at 39th?
But seriously, who really cares what these lists say? They're just the opinions of the author and don't carry any real weight (with all due respect Tony Mejia).
I suppose now that we're in September the countdown to training camp will seem to go even slower.![]()
