In the 'Zzone

GM Ed Stefanski confirmed it was the same thing that kept Kidd out of two games last year. But the GM said he doesn't think it's any worse.

"We feel it's basically the same as last year," Stefanski said.

Nets Blast - a response to one of our own S2 posters!

I wasn't in Charlotte, but it's pretty clear that of all the new guys brought to the party, it's going to take Magloire the longest to fit in effectively. You have to give him some time. And yes, that means wait until they play a few dozen games.

New York Post

Jason Kidd, back. Josh Boone, ankle. Darrell Armstrong, foot. Jason Collins, wrist.

Daily News - Oh Noes! (rolls eyes)

But Jason Kidd had to miss practice again today because of a bad back. For the third straight day, Kidd was worked on at the chiropractor's office. He probably won't play Thursday against the Knicks at the Meadowlands. Sitting him out for the first two preseason games was the original plan, but having him miss the first home game wasn't. So it's a significant development.

Anytime Kidd is hurt, cross your fingers if you are a Nets fan. The team can't win consistently without him, or at least that's what we think. For the sake of the Nets, let's hope they never have to find out if that's really the case.

Julian Garcia is such a drama queen.

Wow, sorry Jigga, completely clueless. I made another thread about this, haha.

I noticed that Mail's In, with a post from one of our posters -- Larry aka marreis. (a pretty new member, as well).

EDIT: something else of interest, in NetsBlog:

QUOTE

He’ll make some more cuts after the back-to-back set Thursday and Friday.

So...I guess we'll say bye-bye to Jones, Hite, Mateen, and Gill after those games.

haha nah its all good. Never say the Nets mods aren't doing their job!

Hey I said don't say it!

While I might say its typical that people are blowing up over a little Kidd boo-boo, its nice to see that someone hasn't lost faith in Magloire.
