<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Ryan Anderson was considered by some to be a reach for the Nets at pick No. 21, but he was the leading scorer and averaged 21.1 points and 9.9 boards in a conference that produced seven first rounders. He’s come a long way since he weighed 260 pounds as a high school senior, and while projections for his NBA career are mixed, the Nets like his makeup.</div>

Work ethic has tipped scales in rookie's favor - Dave D'Alessandro - Star-Ledger

Anderson made quite a few 3's today. Maybe 3 or 4? I hope that's a glimpse into the future...for real NBA games

EDIT: Yup, 4 three pointers out of 9. Not bad!

He's played great so far in the summer league.

He's a great story, and a nice kid. I think he'll surprise a lot of people, especially those who though the Nets picked him too early.

He's a very skilled basketball player who just flies under the radar. But leading the Pac-10 in scoring AND grabbing 10 rebounds a game isn't easy.

good cuz i like him the most out of the 3 rookies
