The Nets are also stumbling, losers of three of their last four games and eight of 11.

New Jersey’s last three defeats all came against winning clubs - New Orleans, Boston and Orlando. The Nets led by eight points with 7:26 to play Friday in Orlando, but couldn’t hold on and fell 105-102 to the Magic on Friday.

Devin Harris had 25 points and nine assists to lead New Jersey. Vince Carter added 19 points, but missed a potential game-tying 3-pointer as time expired.

“We put ourselves in a position to win and we didn’t … so there is no true silver lining,” coach Lawrence Frank said. “This is going to be a battle of persistence and we just have to continue to fight.”

Harris is averaging 28.1 points and 9.9 assists in his last seven games. He scored 32 points against the Knicks in December.

Predictions? I say Nets - 108, Knicks - 103

I'm in Florida right now, so I'm gonna miss the game.

But the Knicks are too unpredictable to predict. I would like to think after that horrendous loss to Charlotte they step up and beat the Nets.

Holy shit. Yi called for 2 bullshit fouls early. Gay refs. They were going to him on offense too. 2/2 in not even 2 minutes.

Carter is being aggressive early. He's missed a couple of shots but he's getting to the line. Hopefully he can get hot soon.

The Nets FT shooting is already sucking. Only 4-8 so far with Dooling's two misses just now.

Carter hurt his knee. Not much time left. Score tied 96-96.

For two sup-par teams this is a really good game.

Missed layup, missed layup, missed layup...

Common Devin, make these and close out the game!

Yes!

Nets up 5 with 15 seconds left. We got this as long as the Nets make the free throws.

I was close, Nets win 106-101.

Devin had a great game with 35 and 10 and shot over 50% from the field. Carter was also pretty good.
